I AM IN THE MOOD TO
Motion Graphic
Process and Pre-visualisation

My interpretation of the quote, ‘I am in the mood to
dissolve in the sky’, by Virginia Woolf, has a cynical tone. Reflecting
a sense of loss: I don’t know what to do. I don’t know where I am. I just want
to disappear somewhere…
Although Woolf mentions ‘the sky’, I feel like the verb ‘dissolve’ make up the artistic conception of the quote. So I decided to explore the motion of ‘dissolving in water’ in this project

Instead of animating the form of water, adding the flowy and
liquid motion of water in text and images is a more practical way.
I started to explore camera movement on the quote in the storyboard.
